Möller's Omega-3 Lemon is pure Norwegian fish oil with a fresh lemon flavor. A unique combination of natural omega-3 (900 mg DHA and EPA per dessert spoon) and vitamins A, D, and E.
Möller's oil is of very high quality, thanks in part to a unique and careful production process. Möller's Omega-3 is available in four flavors and in capsules.
Möller's is the only producer in the world that has been producing cod liver oil for over 170 years. Since its founding in 1854, its history has been characterized by continuous development in production, constantly improving the quality, purity, and taste of Möller's Omega-3.
Möller's Omega-3 distinguishes itself by offering pure cod liver oil with vitamins A, D and E in four fresh flavours.
The Arctic Sea is pure, cold, and clean. The sustainably caught cod is processed within 24 hours, ensuring the oil is exceptionally fresh (totox < 5). Fresh, high-quality fish oil doesn't cause burping. Furthermore, the cod liver oil is exceptionally pure: free of detectable levels of mercury, cadmium, lead, and PCBs.
What is the difference between fish oil and cod liver oil?
Cod liver oil is fish oil, but not all fish oil is cod liver oil. Fish oil is only considered "cod liver oil" if it is extracted 100% from the fish's liver. Möller's Omega-3 is derived from cod liver, because this liver contains the highest levels of omega-3 and vitamins. In short: cod liver oil is naturally more complete, richer, and more natural than fish oil.
Cod liver oil used to be very nasty, is that still the case?
Many still remember the unpleasant taste of cod liver oil from the past. Cod liver oil becomes unpleasant (rancid) when exposed to oxygen and light for a long time (oxidation). Nowadays, there are better options. production techniques To prevent this, Möller's uses fresh fish for its cod liver oil. The oil is then gently processed and purified in a low-oxygen environment (without the use of chemicals). We also add vitamin E to the oil, which further protects it against oxidation. This gives Möller's cod liver oil a neutral and refreshing taste.
Is Möller's Omega-3 suitable for children?
Möller's Omega-3 is suitable for children aged 6 months and up. Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins are crucial for your baby's healthy growth and development. We recommend starting children aged 6 months and up with half a serving of Möller's Omega-3 to help them get used to the oil. To start, give your child half a spoonful of Möller's, and once your child is used to it, you can easily increase the dose to a full dessert spoon. This is also the recommended daily amount for adults.
For children aged 3 years and older, we recommend starting immediately with one whole spoonful of Möller's per day (= 5 ml).
