The combination of maltodextrin, fructose, and minerals ensures hydration during exertion. Loss of fluid can affect your performance and can cause cramps, headaches, and overheating.
Carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions, such as Maxim Total Hydration, contribute to endurance during prolonged exercise. Carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions increase water absorption during physical exercise. Additionally, magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and a reduction in fatigue.
Usage:
The amount of Total Hydration you should consume during exercise depends on the individual, weather conditions, intensity, and duration of the workout. Nevertheless, we adhere to the following general guidelines:
- Drink 200-500 ml just before exercise to start well-hydrated.
- Drink 200 ml every 15-20 minutes to maintain your fluid balance.
