When to use Blue Nana Energy Sports Drink?

Before exercise (15 – 30 min):
Drink 250 ml before exercise to supply your body with sufficient fluid, energy and electrolytes.

During exercise:
We recommend drinking at least 500 ml of sports drink per hour. In hot weather or dry air, we recommend drinking at least 750 ml of sports drink per hour.

Hydrating = performing. Drinking enough is important for good metabolism, removal of heat and waste products, and blood pressure. Electrolytes ensure a good fluid balance and muscle function.

Blue Nana Sports Drink provides 37 grams of carbohydrates per 500 ml. In combination with 1 Blue Nana Energy bar, it provides the ideal amount of energy (70-80 g carbohydrates) for 1 hour of exercise.

After exercise:
Even after exercise, your body is still actively burning calories, and sufficient fluid intake and replenishment of carbohydrates and electrolytes are important for good recovery. Drink at least 500 ml of sports drink after exercise.

*Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles. The beneficial effect is obtained with a total intake of 4 grams of carbohydrates per kg of body weight, in doses, the first of which should be taken within 4 hours and the last no later than 6 hours after exercise.
